Delivered under a two-year contract via ASCA (the Advanced Strategic Capabilities Accelerator). Live and delivering now. STARS, says CEO Rajat Kulshrestha, “directly addresses a critical gap in space domain awareness.”

High-performance propulsion for responsive spacecraft, enabling the rapid manoeuvre required for custody, inspection and response. “Propulsion is absolutely core to what Space Machines needs to do,” says VP Engineering Ian Partis.
OF-01 at UTS Tech Lab
Optimus Factory 01 manufacturing facility partnership with UTS Tech Lab, supporting spacecraft integration and testing at scale. The facility is, says CEO Rajat Kulshrestha, “shifting our nation from a consumer to a producer of critical space infrastructure.”
Perigee Aerospace
Strategic partnership with Perigee Aerospace to develop a Kickstage pairing Korean methane propulsion with Australian spacecraft systems, extending Optimus Viper's reach into GEO.
Reaction Dynamics
MOU with Canadian launch company Reaction Dynamics, pairing Aurora hybrid-propulsion launch vehicles with Optimus Viper for on-demand launch and in-orbit inspection and servicing.
UK/AUS Space Bridge Project
UK/AUS Space Bridge project with Satellite Applications Catapult and the University of Sydney, studying propellant slosh in spacecraft under the UK Space Agency's International Bilateral Fund.
